Coach Rose notes that as the game evolves there are more opportunities to use players in different areas of the court, and that the back row is a critical area to develop for increasing a team's ability to score points. Rose begins by teaching you strategies and drills to develop a back row player's awareness of the proper position from which to take a quality swing. He includes footwork and zone identification drills - both with and without the ball. Rose also includes seven drills and situational options that will assist you in implementing the workings of the back row attack.
