The Chuck Klausing 4-Pack
FD-02723A: with Chuck Klausing,
College Football Hall of Fame ('98);
.821 NCAA Winning Percentage in 16 years as college head coach

Football legend Chuck Klausing, a 46-year veteran of coaching football, breaks down the motion variations from the Jet series. Jet motion evolved over time and is wingback motion behind the quarterback. In studying Jet Sweep motion, Coach Klausing found it was a great addition to the Wing T. It offers deception and power to the offense. The sweep is fast, the wing back is at full speed, and it spreads the flank wider which opens up plays inside. All facets of this offense are diagrammed and explained on overhead, followed by actual game footage of the Jet Motion. In all, 28 keys to this offense are listed including the '180 pivot by quarterback,' 'hand off in A gap,' 'quarterback hands off ball with right hand' and the 'quarterback fake.' To further explain the Jet Motion, Klausing and OB Coach Jeff Simmons take the team to the practice field and run the offense.

College Football Hall of Fame ('98);
.821 NCAA Winning Percentage in 16 years as college head coach

Coach Klausing believes that youth football should develop skills instead of an emphasis on winning. He begins by outlining the keys to winning football in high school. These keys include a family approach, team first, teach positively and teaching discipline. When teaching technique, Klausing puts a major emphasis on good running mechanics. He also includes 10 points to teach the art of blocking. When discussing strategy, Klausing diagrams the sweep, rocket sweep, jet sweep and swinging gate - all are simple offensive concepts that kids at any level can be taught. The last portion of this DVD is youth football in action. Klausing shares videotape footage of youth football to support his overhead teaching.

FD-02723C: with Chuck Klausing,
College Football Hall of Fame ('98);
.821 NCAA Winning Percentage in 16 years as college head coach

Coach Klausing has seen every offense in football over the course of his 46-year coaching career. This DVD reviews the Jet and Rocket motion as he presents new ideas for the Canadian motion. Also known as the slide or bounce motion, the motion player shuffles past the quarterback facing the line of scrimmage. He illustrates different play options and alignments for the Wing-T through the use of the overhead diagrams and on-field demonstration. A special segment deals with the red zone short yardage situations at the goal line. He diagrams his special 626 play that is very effective in the red zone. Also featured is the gap on down blocking scheme. Klausing also analyzes changes for the Wing-T and Run & Shoot offenses.

FD-02723D: with Chuck Klausing,
College Football Hall of Fame ('98);
.821 NCAA Winning Percentage in 16 years as college head coach

Rocket motion is an offensive attack that Coach Klausing has studied for years. The motion man runs behind the fullback in this offense, which differs from the Jet motion. With the help of game footage, Klausing breaks down a number of formations and plays that he has successfully implemented. These formations include the Red Formation and three-step package, as well as the Rocket Down play, the player shift and the running halfback pass. Klausing and QB Coach Jeff Simmons hit the practice field to thoroughly break down the Rocket motion and include the Rocket Sweep drill, which is a versatile drill that helps teach the offense in practice. This versatile offense can easily be incorporated into your attack.

Lew Johnston: Spread Shotgun Wing-T Offensive System
FD-02432A: with Lew Johnston,
Western Branch HS (VA) Head Coach,
4x District Champions, 4x Time District "Coach of the Year"

Coach Johnston's "Spread Shotgun Wing-T Offense" uses the same principles and schemes as the regular Wing-T, making it easy to install and run. It also gives you the flexibility to take advantage of defenses packing the box, to change tempo by going "no huddle" or to utilize a great passing quarterback. Defenses are starting to become all too familiar with the regular Wing-T, so the "Spread Shotgun Wing-T" can be used to throw your opponent a "change-up," as well as forcing them to prepare for two different packages. Johnston walks you through the alignment and splits of every player as well as teaching how to call and receive plays from the sideline. Johnston specifically outlines the pre-snap reads that will determine the most successful play to run the Shotgun Wing-T package. Coaches, with this DVD, you can add an explosive new element to your offense without giving up the basic principles of the regular Wing-T Offense!
