'Trickology' 101: Trick Plays That Work
with Bill Shepard, former Rockford Christian HS (IL) Head CoachThis unique presentation unfolds a game plan for trick plays that can change the course of a football game. Trick plays, both offensively and on special teams, can change the momentum of the game, give an advantage over superior teams and does not take much practice time to cover. Coach Shepard shares several things to consider when looking at a plan for trick play offense. The plays he covers include 36 Reverse and 36 Reverse Pass, 36 Special, 148 Quick Pass, Wild Cowboy, Speed, Speed Pass and Yo-Yo. The 36 series is effective and each play can be disguised because all plays look similar. The same is true for Speed and Speed Pass. The Yo-Yo is a counter Option series of trick plays. The 148 Quick Pass gets the ball outside and to the corner. The Wild Cowboy play is a trick play to catch a pass in the flat in the corner of the end zone. Multiple game clips reinforce each of these plays and show how dangerous they are. Trick plays can make the difference in a big game. Use this DVD to add a few trick plays to your offensive arsenal. 60 minutes. 2007.

Sensational Swinging-Gate Schemes
with Mike Roark; Eastern Director DSV, founder of www.letstalkdefense.comSince the late 1980s, Mike Roark has picked up the Swinging Gate formation and developed it into an effective offensive and special team's package. Roark is committed to this formation because it is different, hard to scout (which takes practice time away from the opposing team), is easy to install, can be run from the middle of the field and is fun for players and coaches alike. The Swinging Gate is a numbers game based on surprise and unpredictability, allowing you to go where you have the numbers advantage. The formation shown in this highly informative DVD includes five eligible receivers and three other options. Using animation, the Orange Set is demonstrated for use on extra points and two-point conversions. Another feature is Gate Red where the wedge run takes advantage of the defensive alignment. Blue is a play that takes advantage of numbers to the field. This play becomes a pass play after a snap straight back. Red Opposite creates even more chaos by shifting everyone to the right side of the ball instead of the left. Other plays shown are Black, Red Special and White. Coaches who enjoy thinking outside of the box will be excited by this unconventional, yet proven-to-be-successful offense. 2007.
